CIHR monitoring registration and disclosure of clinical trials results begins February 2026

January 20, 2026

CIHR requires researchers who received funding for a clinical trial in 2022 or later to register those trials and disclose the clinical trial results.  Investigators must comply with this policy in order to remain eligible for funding.

CIHR’s annual process for monitoring compliance with these requirements begins in February 2026, and we will be publicly reporting on results later this spring.
