National Science Foundation Applications

National Science Foundation applications now require FCOI compliance.

All new grant applications submitted to the National Science Foundation will be required to comply with the US Public Health Service FCOI Regulations. This decision has been made to ensure that UBC and its investigators meet the financial conflict of interest requirements of the NSF (available here).

Investigators applying for NSF grants will need to complete the PHS FCOI reporting requirements but will typically NOT have to complete FCOI training unless otherwise specified (e.g., by the Prime Awardee). Specifically, the PI will be required to submit a list of investigators for their study and ensure that all investigators following UBC policy have submitted a Significant Financial Interest disclosure form (see Section C. Resources).
