Researcher Survey for Multi-jurisdictional Research
Research Ethics BC (REBC)* has contracted an external consultant to evaluate the harmonized research ethics review models being used in BC. If you have submitted a multi-jurisdictional study for ethics review in BC, they would like to hear from you.
The survey will take between 15-30 minutes to complete.
Completion is requested by Saturday September 17th.

RISE will be out of service JUNE 17-20
In order to successfully upgrade the RISe system to Version 10, RISe will be inaccessible from 5pm on Friday, June 17 until 5am on Monday, June 20.
There will be no user access during this time.

REBC and UBC respond to Tri-Agency proposed guidance on Ethics Review of Multi-jurisdictional Research
The Tri-Agency Panel on Research Ethics (PRE) proposed policy guidance released in June 2021 related to harmonized ethics review of multi-jurisdictional research. Updated GUIDANCE related to COVID-19 for BEHAVIOURAL Research
The Offices of Research Ethics on the Vancouver and Okanagan campuses have updated their guidance in anticipation that authorization to resume in-person behavioural research will be fully implemented in the coming months.
