There is no charge for applications requiring review that are either unfunded, funded internally (including teaching), funded by grants from federal / provincial granting agencies and charitable or not-for-profit organizations.
If your application is funded by a for-profit (industry) agency, a $600 fee will apply. You will receive a one-time only invoice that covers the initial review, annual renewals, and amendments for the duration of the 5-year protocol. If you add for-profit funding after initial approval, you will be invoiced for the same amount. Payments can be made by cheque or through a Workday Worktag. A biosafety certificate will not be issued until the fee payment has been finalized.
